ConnectEd is an e-learning, community building, and project management platform for projects, tools, and scientific societies. ConnectEd features an e-learning module that supports multimedia tutorials, lectures, courses, and workshops. It also includes public and private discussion forums to facilitate communication among work packages, community members, and users, as well as to serve as a platform for networking and collaboration. The forum additionally supports project management by providing an interface where work package members can collaborate, schedule meetings, post events, and upload documents.

ConnectEd enhances the ability of projects, tools, and societies to disseminate their training resources to the neuroscience community-at-large while connecting them to the global ecosystem of open access training resources made available by the INCF TrainingSpace.Modules
The base model of ConnectEd is composed of 3 modules: e-learning, community building, and project management.
The e-learning module enables the uploading of multimedia tutorials, lectures, courses, or workshops that can be organized into study tracks or competency tracks. The e-learning module provides users with a description of the content complete with information about the topics covered learning objectives and related content. Content on ConnectEd can be either publicly accessible or restricted to members, making it an ideal solution for projects and societies seeking to provide training resources and support for their community.
The community building module is composed of 2 parts: a member forum for networking and communication and a membership directory that enables users to search for other members based on areas of interests, location, career level, or working group/work package. The forum sends weekly/monthly digest on discussion forum activities which simplifies the production of newsletters and enables projects, tools, and scientific societies to be more responsive to their community's needs.
ConnectED enhances project management by offering a centralized interface where work package members can efficiently collaborate. Users can schedule and post important project-related events, and upload relevant documents, ensuring easy access to essential resources. Additionally, the forum fosters a structured workflow, helping teams stay organized, improve productivity, and streamline project execution. By providing a dedicated space for collaboration, ConnectED supports effective teamwork and enhances overall project efficiency.
